Barack Obama vs. Thomas Jefferson

Apparently our brave, young President - Barack Hussein Obama (mmm, mmm, mmm) - believes that he is now smarter than the founding fathers of this country. Funny, since his only accomplishments in life are winning a couple of elections against sub-par opponents but ego is ego I guess.

The framers of our Constitution (all more accomplished than President Barry) lived under tyranny and therefore understood the natural evolution of government, which is to evolve into tyranny. They designed our republic...NOT democracy, but republic...with a system of checks and balances that would make it difficult for politicians to pass legislation on a "whim". One of those "checks and balances" was the requirement that the Senate would need 60 votes rather than a simple majority to pass legislation, other than budgetary items. It's a rule that has worked well for over 200 years. That is, until Barack Hussein Obama came along.

This ass bag can't get 60 votes in the Senate for Obamacare, a bill that over 60% of Americans oppose, so now our Dear Leader will simply change the rules. Like a skinny kid who can't win in sports, he's throwing a temper tantrum and crying about things being "unfair". Never mind that this same ass bag went nuts as a Senator when Republicans suggested a simple majority to confirm judicial nominees during the Bush years, something I also opposed.

So The One will get his way, and we will have Obamacare shoved down our throats in a way that would make Monica Lewinsky choke. And what can we do about it? VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! And vote often! We need to run Democrats out of office at all levels of government. Even the little ones, the city councilman, the school board, the local dog warden, ALL of them. The Democrat party needs to be taught a lesson. They need to be reminded that ours is a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. And they need to be reminded at all levels, from Blissfield, MI to Phoenix AZ, that WE run things and they work for us! They've obviously forgotten this, and I doubt many of them ever knew it. We get a chance to send a message next November...who's coming with me?????
